Harold S. Rabinovitz, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in the detection and treatment of skin cancer. He uses advanced imaging technologies, including dermoscopy, confocal microscopy, and line-field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC-OCT), for detailed skin examinations.
LC-OCT is a non-invasive imaging technology that can provide a view beneath the skin’s surface and help evaluate suspicious areas in greater detail. In some cases, this imaging can help avoid the need for a biopsy.
For a changing, unusual, or concerning spot, Dr. Rabinovitz can use advanced imaging to take a closer look and determine the next step.
Dr. Rabinovitz graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University and received his medical degree from University of Miami School of Medicine. He performed his internship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and completed his dermatology residency at New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Rabinovitz served as Voluntary Clinical Professor of Dermatology at University of Miami School of Medicine. Presently, he serves as a part time Professor of Dermatology teaching medical students and residents at the Medical College of Georgia.
