Skin care products and your routine
An at-home skin care routine can support skin health and address specific concerns. Central Dermatology Center sells physician-grade skin care products in its offices. A dermatology provider can discuss an at-home routine and products that may fit a particular condition or treatment plan.
SkinCeuticals products are available through CDC as part of its clinical skin care product selection. Product recommendations are optional, not required. A comparable product may be available elsewhere, and alternatives to products sold in the office can be discussed. The purpose of a product recommendation is to identify an option that fits the concern being addressed, not to require purchase from the office.

Product recommendations
Products may be recommended for a skin condition or as part of an at-home routine. A recommendation does not mean that the product is required for care. Bring questions about current products, a reaction, or a possible alternative to the visit so the routine can be reviewed in the context of the skin concern and any ongoing treatment.
Skin care products can be used alongside a medical or aesthetic treatment plan when appropriate. The products, timing, and use instructions should be discussed with the clinician who is helping plan care. If a product does not suit the routine or budget, ask about comparable options.
Return and exchange policy
Products may be exchanged within 14 days of the purchase date if they do not meet expectations. Keep the receipt. Most skin care product companies accept a return or refund only when there has been a reaction to the product and an adverse-reaction form is completed.
Prescription items and special-order items cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason. Before opening or using a product, ask about its intended use and the office policy if there is uncertainty about an exchange. This helps distinguish a product that does not meet expectations from a reaction that may require documentation.
